It is expressed consistently from Genesis to Revelation that man was created in God's image and is meant to live out His purpose on earth through God's power and is given new emphasis in the "gospel of the kingdom" that Jesus announced and Paul shared. While sin affected our ability to fulfill this purpose, and to once again live within the intended "perfect" environment God made us for, the purpose never changed. The book of Revelation is evidence that our "ruling" function among God's creation remains. Jesus' life, death, and resurrection removed the barrier sin put between us and God, and Paul preached that the reconciliation with God, and with His purposes for us which results from Jesus' righteousness, is the basis for the continuance of the purpose He created us for. In between studies of this theme in Genesis and Revelation, it will demonstrate how Jesus lived with the confidence of His purpose during His time on earth, and how Paul understood this purpose's fulfillment in the "New Man" reality for all disciples of Jesus. It will also demonstrate how being Made for Eden is part of the gospel we must preach and live, and why it is "good news." The book will address the responsibilities Paul says accompany a living commitment to this message and also address skeptics of this truth"--
