Ross Fitzgerald is an emeritus professor of history and politics at Griffith University in Brisbane, and a part-time professorial fellow at the Australian Catholic University. He is the author of more than 30 books. Lyndon Megarrity has a doctorate in history from the University of New England and has published several articles on Queensland and Australian history. David Symons has a BA in historical studies from Griffith University.
