This work presents a holistic view of the Upper Paleolithic period known as the Magdalenian, which spans from approximately 23,000 to 13,000 years before present in Eurasia. During this time, Magdalenian hunter-gatherer societies developed a rich material culture, including a variety of tools such as adzes, harpoons, bone needles, and decorative ornaments. These communities demonstrated a remarkable creative capacity, as evidenced by the movable art found at sites such as Cueva del Mirón in Cantabria and Cueva de Valdavara in Galicia. In 'Magdalenian, Iberia after the Last Glacial Maximum' the great contributions of specialists from different peninsular regions are collected. From the north of Spain, with sites such as the Cueva del Mirón in Cantabria, to the south, with discoveries such as the Abrigo del Portillo in Jaén, the complexity of the Magdalenian societies and their adaptation to different environmental settings are revealed.
