It is evident that Garner studied the historical context in-depth and with passion. It was a pleasure to read this well-known story from a new perspective but fleshed out. He has given us what Dante and Milton gave their contemporary readers. Thank you, Terry!" Magi Journey - Persia - the long-awaited conclusion of the Magi Journey Trilogy, the story of Faith, and Hope, concludes with the redemption of Israel from Babylonian captivity and of mankind from sin and death. The story of Israel's captivity concludes with the rise of Cyrus the Great. Through the eyes of the Magi, we ride with Cyrus as he defeats the Medes at the Battle of Pasargadae, the Lydians at Thymbra, and the Babylonians at Opis. A sweeping story of the creation of the largest empire the world had seen to that point in time. The journey of the Magi storytellers continues as they confront the Romans at Resafa and Damascus. The Magi Family reaches Israel and is astounded by Israel's lack of knowledge of the recently arrived Messiah. Ride with Navid and his father as they search from the north to the south of Israel, seeking the Messiah. The Magi search Cappodicia, Shechem, Bethel, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem, but they do not find the Messiah. How could Israel not have seen Him? How could they not know? Join the Magi as they seek to understand this mystery.
