Moreover, ittries to show the history of MAGIC, how it developedin (children's) literature and how it is included inchildren's books. Another aim is to find out aboutdifferent reasons why magic in children's books isso popular, to show possible ways of how MAGICelements can be shown in books for a young audienceand, most important, to explore those questions by adetailed analysis of the 3 specific children'sbooks: 'Peter Pan' (J.M.Barrie), 'The Witches'(Roald Dahl) and 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher'sStone' (J.K. Rowling)...as well as to define therole of MAGIC in them.
