This book deals with the transport property of a particular transition metal oxide glass doped with LaMnO3. It is well known that rare earth manganites (REM) material LaMnO3 shows giant magnetoresistive property. The doped glasses show higher conductivity, higher dielectric constant, low loss due to the presence of nanoparticles of different sizes, producing slight changed glass network structure. Size, concentration of the doping nanoparticles can be varied by changing the condition of preparation of the doping material and glassy system. The study shown here shows the increasing applicability for the doped glasses in semiconducting devices, capacitive materials, memory switches etc.
