About the Authors John Coburn was born into a family that eventually grew to seven brothers, eight sisters. They were raised in Hawaii, with all but one graduating from the same small high school in the quaint village of Kahuku, on the island of Oahu. His family is a true cosmopolitan mix of races, cultures, languages, careers, and history, giving John a wealth of experience to draw on and an imagination to match.
