Thomas David Valentine was born in northern Illinois and grew up in western Kentucky. He obtained degrees in philosophy, psychology, and law. He practiced law in Florida for 26 years before turning to writing. He now writes the Maidens of Epodlo series of science fiction novels about four strong, smart, passionate women of the future, facing some familiar philosophic challenges from diverse perspectives.
