In recent decades, music education pedagogy has established the position that each musical material requires the development of teaching methods appropriate to its intonational nature. In music pedagogy this has led to the emergence of style solfeggio. Currently, in the teaching of solfeggio two main directions are clearly defined: the traditional approach, which is a unified approach to the selection and alignment of the educational material based solely on the objectives of the subject, without regard to the stylistic diversity of music, and the stylistic approach, in the depth of which several directions can be distinguished depending on the mastered stylistic material. The proposed articles talk about the main varieties of style solfeggio, namely jazz and folklore solfeggio. The main purpose of this direction in the teaching of solfeggio is the development of listening style and intonation skills on the pop-jazz and folklore material.
