Autorenporträt
Robert Maxon is professor of history at West Virginia University. He holds a PhD from Syracuse University and a BA from Duke University. Dr. Maxon's previous publications include Kenya's Independence Constitution (Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2011), Britain and Kenya's Constitutions, 1950-1960 (Cambria Press, 2011), East Africa: An Introductory History, 3rd and Revised Edition (West Virginia University Press, 2009), and Historical Dictionary of Kenya Third Edition, coauthored with Thomas Ofcansky (Rowman & Littlefield, 2014). He is the recipient of the Kenya Scholars and Studies Association Lifetime Achievement Award and an honorary D. Litt. from Moi University.
