Make-it-Happen' is a unique book, which creatively addresses the question of how the entrepreneurial process acts as a key contributor to a fulfilling and productive Personal Entrepreneur Ecosystem (PEE). As a scholarly practitioner of entrepreneurship and innovation, I articulate how the four levels of the PEE: My Formation Years; Career Development; National Leadership; and International Collaborations, are integrated into a lived experience across the generations, across industries and sectors, across education systems, and across cultures with a values-based challenge to see today's big issues as opportunities to network and innovate in creating a better society and world. In Part 1, I use an examination of my ancestry to identify common traits and values and integrate these birth genes and family values with the many opportunities and career aspirations presented over a lifetime. Indeed, such a holistic appreciation of a life's experiences leads to an interesting and satisfying reality that highlights the importance of relationships, integrity, 'how I think', 'what I feel', and 'who I am.' A legacy, from the Inspiration engendered by my professors in Australia and Cambridge (Part 2), was a passion for applied research and innovations valued by industry and meeting user needs. Two such innovations were the use of carbon-fibre composites on the 787 Dreamliner, and delivery of the first entrepreneurship degrees in Australia. Part 3 reviews the establishment of the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship in compelling detail and provides examples of the application of Entrepreneur Mindset, on a national scene, to corporate and community leadership. New challenges and opportunities are identified in Part 4 with a practice of 'NetWeaving' with international entrepreneurs and organisations. Whether your interests lie in becoming an entrepreneur or developing anentrepreneur mindset, Make It Happen: a Lived Experience demonstrates how this mindset can be used by us all in ensuring our lives are well-lived.
