The voice of one calling in the wilderness once proclaimed, "Make straight the way for the LORD." (John 1:23 NIV) And this Messiah would later explain, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3 ESV) Thus, the changing of a nation - the changing of this whole lost and broken world - begins with one spiritual rebirth at a time. This collection of poetry and prose is written to reflect this life-transforming glory of God. The works within will, at times, bring readers through valleys of death, doubt, and despair. But ultimately, these same works will lead them to the mountaintop of blessed assurance we can only find in the risen Savior. So..."Make Way for Baby!" In short, make way...for the reception of our LORD.

Autorenporträt
Broken, by the age of 14 I was tormented by a mental illness that had left me institutionalized. Deprived of my home, my family, and friends...I was laid bare before the LORD with nothing, not even my own sanity. But in these moments of weakness, Christ interceded through wordless groans on my behalf to the Almighty. Now married with three grown children, I live a joyfully fulfilled life in a simple Texas town. And, God willing, I will continue to write poetry and prose in honor of my King!
