Autorenporträt
Trish Kirk dedicates her life to promoting kindness and compassion for animals. After a career in library services at the Appleton Public Library in Wisconsin, Trish and her husband, Tim, retired to the Northwoods in Wisconsin where she spent 12 years volunteering for wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. With a particular interest in Black Bears, Trish was also an Education Outreach Coordinator for the North American Bear Center in Ely, MN. She is a former national board member of Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry which serves as a central source of nonhuman animal awareness and education. As an activist for animal welfare, Trish is acutely aware of the serious environmental challenges that not only affect humans, but wildlife, as well.
