MALCOLM X (1925 – 1965) was a civil rights leader, human rights activist, and vocal champion for Black liberation in the United States. GEORGE BREITMAN (1916 – 1986) was a founding member of the Socialist Workers Party. He published Malcolm X Speaks in 1965.
