Avree's love of history, forensics, and research came together in writing this historical crime fiction she describes as Truman Capote's In Cold Blood meets Margaret Atwood's Alias Grace.When she's not writing, she's a freelance proofreader and copy editor who enjoys reading, trivia, long walks, healthy living, and Maine vacations. Avree is a New Hampshire native who graduated Pembroke Academy in 2005. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband of fifteen years and their cat, Aloysius.
