Lawrie Ignacio is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her work with those longing to understand the deeper significance of their place in the world inspired her to write a simple poem that speaks to the innocent heart within each of us-the source from which this question springs. She is also a mother to two adult daughters.
