Christie Matheson is the author of several award-winning picture books, including Tap the Magic Tree, Touch the Brightest Star, Plant the Tiny Seed , and The Hidden Rainbow. Her books have been translated into 18 languages. Her first middle-grade novel, Shelter, was released in October 2021. Christie lives in San Francisco with her family.
