Speaking of diversity in orientation, we are talking about different orientations in the choice of relationships and intimate or sexual partners, including heterosexuality, bisexuality and homosexuality, speaking of homosexuality in the world and in Africa in particular, this sexual orientation creates a lot of controversy among both politicians and residents, Studies show us that Africans are very homophobic towards homosexuals, hence the total rejection of those, moreover it is not easy to undertake a conversation on this subject in the households, since it is for the most part a taboo subject whose attention does not deserve to be brought to it, so these homosexuals are marginalized and rejected by their own. Thus, this work, with the support of Brewer's theory of Optimal Distinctiveness (1991), allows us to evaluate the degree of hostility and especially the attitude of heterosexuals towards homosexuals in the African context.
