This book further describes the complexities involved in home-based treatment and preventive practices for such childhood mishaps. The author advocates that, collaboration from families, schools, religious groups, NGOs and health institutions with educated parents and school aged children on the significant risk factors of childhood burns and falls is crucial for reducing such injuries at home.
