Produktbeschreibung
This book contains the minimum indispensable information that a dental surgeon, or student in training, may require for successful clinical work with children regarding the management of their behavior in the dental environment. It is a compilation of theoretical elements contextualized with experience that aims to respond to prejudices that are often behind our willingness to intervene or not to intervene in the stomatological service of the child classified as difficult. It presents a content with a balance between theoretical component and practical proposals with the purpose of contributing to forge abilities and skills endowed with confidence and security when dealing with children, whether they are difficult or not. The text develops a flow of information from the analysis of the dental experience of a patient considered as a difficult child. Variables and protagonists that characterize and project this situation as a challenge are described and linked to examples and explanations of real experiences.
