India is considered as the largest producer, consumer and exporter of turmeric in the globe. Turmeric is affected by leaf spot disease (Colletotrichum capsici), causes extensive yield and quality losses. This study was conducted by using fungicides and bio-agents those found significantly effective in lab condition to test their efficacy on leaf spot disease of turmeric in pot culture experiment. A pot trial was conducted during kharif- 2016 in net house. Plants were inoculated with C. capsici first to create disease symptoms. Subsequently, the disease was managed by using fungicides and antagonistic organisms those found significantly effective in lab condition. CRD design was performed. Three sprays of each treatment were taken at an interval of 15 days. After 15 days of last spray of the treatment, per cent disease intensity and per cent disease control of leaf spot were recorded. Highest disease control was obtained in application of Tebuconazole. Looking to the overall results an eco-friendly application of T. koningi can be recommended for disease management. The damage caused by anthracnose disease is an issue of concern in turmeric cultivation.
