This study determined the management performance, particularly on technical management, student activity management, human resource management, school property management, office management, relationship with the community, and student union management of school principals in Sikhottabong District, Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR. Specifically, it aimed to (1) describe the socio-demographic profile of both school principals and teachers, (2) determine the management performance of school principals based on the seven tasks and responsibilities as mandated by the Ministry of Education, (3) analyze the problems encountered by the principals, (4) identify the kinds of support needed by the school principals, and (5) recommend an action plan to improve their performance.
