Due to changes in the physician training regulations and also in thenursing training regulations, it is difficult tosituation analysis is difficult. However, the shortage in the healthcare sector becomes clear when ordinations in certain regions are unable to find a physician as a successor. The next generation of nurses is also desired. Prospective physicians and nurses look for internships and find them in hospitals, nursing homes or mobile services. However, a teaching practice is obligatory for medical students since 2015, so the author deals with this topic, as it is a new challenge. At the same time, this idea also offers other health care professions an insight into the surgical field with a technical focus. Medical-technical specialists, but also nursing professions could be interested in this.The aim of this work is to shed light on the management processes in endoscopy from the point of view of nursing and medicine and, in addition, to develop suitable training conceptsfor both areas for a prospective teaching practice.
