El Sr. Shiva Devkota, MSc, MA. ha trabajado como profesor adjunto en el Departamento Central de Botánica de la Universidad de Tribhuvan (Nepal) y participa igualmente en numerosos programas de investigación. Ha publicado y presentado más de una docena de trabajos de investigación. Su campo de interés son los hongos silvestres, los hongos de oruga, los líquenes y la antropología biológica.
