This book presents research that sought to characterize the managerial action of educational managers, based on their perceptions of their work with other members of the school community and management teams at the Santa Maria de Jetibá-ES Municipal Department of Education. Documents were analyzed to understand and characterize the organizational structure of the education department. In the search for an understanding of the relationships between managers, semi-structured interviews were carried out which helped to deepen the information collected. The interview reports provided fragments that could guide ideas for a better treatment of the data and content presented by the managers interviewed. The conversations held with these interviewees showed how the "managerial functions" of educational managers are carried out.
