Mkandawire Stein O.C. was born on 29th March, 1968 in Zambia. He is married to Cecilia Mwamba Mkandawire with four children. He holds MSc in Data Communications and Software Engineering, BSc in Computer Science and a Diploma in Mining Metallurgy. He is currently working for the Copperbelt University, Zambia.
