This guide is designed as a tool that anyone, young and old, professional or not, can utilize as a tool to focus, create, and meditate through the process of drawing and coloring the circular, repeating, mathematical designs known as mandalas. As many have seen recently, the benefits of coloring, such as in adult coloring books, go far in terms of mental and emotional health, and this book is meant to take you a step further, to the creation of art itself. Autorenporträt
Rae "Hobo" Kelly is an artist, writer, and tattooist whose inspiration is drawn from her experiences living in culturally diverse areas in several regions around the world. Her travels throughout South Asia, where she spent nearly a decade of her life, as well as the Washington, D.C. area where she was raised, gave her exposure to a number of different approaches and attitudes regarding life, art, and coexistence with people whose backgrounds were very different from her own. This helped shaped her work in the way it shaped her perspective on the world around us, and her drive to create art was coupled with a desire to connect with people on deeper psychological and spiritual levels, as a means for us all to betterunderstand each other and, by doing such, to learn to communicate and coexist on this planet alongside one another more harmoniously than we often find ourselves in modern times.
