An intensive study of the growth of the human head inevitably lead to the realization that it involves most complicated anatomical complex in all creation. The inter relationships between the jaws are infinite and the cause and effect of these relationships can hardly be estimated. Since Björk (1955) drew attention to mandibular growth rotations as a feature of normal facial growth, interest in their clinical relevance has gradually developed and the literature on this topic is now quite extensive. This book is a compilation of the literature available on mandibular growth rotation and its clinical implications.
