Bruce Gourley is a historian, writer, Internet entrepreneur, and photographer who lives with his family near Churchill. He holds a PhD in history from Auburn University, has written four previous history volumes, and operates the history site www.montanahistory.net. The photographs in this volume are courtesy of the Gallatin Historical Society and Pioneer Museum in Bozeman, Montana.
