The present study was carried out with the purpose of identifying and analyzing the manifestations of gender stereotypes and roles in pre- and adolescent students in a rural school, in order to determine if these can influence their behavior and/or patterns of conduct in the school environment; Taking into account that gender stereotypes and roles are aspects and elements that have been socially assigned to men and women and that allow them to differentiate one from the other, but that have become sources of inequality and discrimination, so it is believed that this type of study is essential to understand this problem and thus, from the educational work, to guide students on this issue, taking into account that at this stage the identities and beliefs of individuals as future adults are consolidated. Therefore, a descriptive theoretical-practical research was developed, applying a measuring instrument that would allow measuring the individual attitudes or predispositions of the children in relation to the research topic.
