In recent few decades, projection of women issues remained the most prominent trend of authors all over the world. Indian authors are also fascinated by women issues. Some Indian women novelists in English have tried to explore the pathetic plight of Indian women who are compelled to suffer from their birth till their death in order to keep them under the governance of patriarchal society. Manju Kapur is one of the most prominent Indian women novelists.
