Autorenporträt
Renée Sunbird studied Indology (Sanskrit) and Philosophy at the University of Vienna. She started a regular practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga during her time at university and wrote her diploma thesis on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. She traveled to India several times to deepen her yoga practice and experience the philosophy of India. There she also fell in love with Hinduism, Indian music, and learned Mantra and Bhajan singing. After playing the flute, piano, double bass and guitar in her youth, she finally felt like she is making music when she started to play the ukulele. When she shared her music, people and friends kept asking for chords, strumming patterns, and information about the Mantras, which has inspired her to publish this book.
