Rupert Ranke nació en Maloia, Engadina Superior, Suiza, en 1973. Ha vivido y trabajado esporádicamente en España, Estados Unidos, Argentina, Costa Rica y Grecia. Manuscrito hallado en la calle Sócrates es su primer libro, editado y traducido para Lumen por Rodrigo Rey Rosa.
