Biography of Chandra Carruthers-RandleEarly Life: Chandra Carruthers-Randle was born in 1969 in Los Angeles, Ca. She grew up in small community of Forest Hill Texas, in a close-knit family and was raised with a strong sense of community and social responsibility. From an early age, Chandra demonstrated a passion for helping others and a keen interest in the arts and humanities. At an early age Chandra lost most of her hearing due to an accident in one of the communities she now serves in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2012, as an adult, Chandra received the Cochlear Implant to improve her then profound deafness. Although she still struggles today with hearing loss, she will stop at nothing to fit in and be a normal hearing person. Education: Chandra attended Everman High School in Texas, where she excelled academically and actively participated in various extracurricular activities. Chandra attended College at Tarrant County College and also Texas A&M Commerce where she studied Real Estate. Chandra pursued a Career in Real Estate, where she continues after 23 years in the industry to make families happy by providing permanent homestead. Chandra also provides leadership to young adults in teaching them to do the best at whatever their heart desires. As an emerging leader, engaging in numerous community service initiatives and artistic endeavors, Chandra strives to do as much as possible to make a difference in life. Career and Activism: Chandra embarked on a career dedicated to family and community. She worked with several nonprofit organizations, focusing on issues such as youth empowerment, education access, and racial equity. Her commitment to uplifting marginalized communities and promoting positive social change earned her recognition as a passionate and effective advocate. Chandra is an active member of a local community organization that gives back and focuses on community. In addition to her work in the nonprofit sector, Chandra also pursued her artistic interests, using her creativity to address social issues and inspire others. This passion has inspired her to create children's books and also adult coloring books and affirmations. She became involved in various art projects and community initiatives aimed at fostering dialogue and understanding through visual and arts. Personal Life: Outside of her professional and artistic pursuits, Chandra is known for her warm and compassionate nature.
