Cliff Cain holds doctorates in theology and in science and has taught courses in world religions, contemporary theology, the Holocaust, science and religion, death and dying, the life and thought of C. S. Lewis, religion and ecology, and the meaning of life. An ordained minister and Harrod-C.S. Professor of Religious Studies Emeritus at Westminster College in Missouri, he currently serves as theologian-in-residence at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwood, South Carolina. This is his twelfth book.
