The present work entitled Cartographie des acteurs institutionnels de la gestion foncière au Bénin has essentially been devoted to identifying the main institutions and actors involved in land management. That said, land governance management involves several institutional players at national, departmental, communal, jurisdictional and technical levels. At national level, land management is overseen by the Agence Nationale du Domaine et du Foncier (ANDF) attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance; the Agence Béninoise de Gestion Intégrée des Espaces Fronaliers (ABeGIEF) under the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security; and the Conseil Consultatif Foncier (CCF) governed by articles 416 to 446 of the Land and Domain Code in the Republic of Benin, under the responsibility of a representative of the President of the Republic. However, the CCF is the parent institution for land management in Benin. Between these institutions, there is a conflict of interest that hinders their effective management.
