The scenario of aquatic insect species diversity present in lentic water bodies has been amazing. Both temporal and spatial variation have been recorded in the different diversity profile of aquatic insects indicating considerable interference by human society and natural conditions. Different orders of insects being integral members of lentic water bodies have also caused surprising variation in their species richness, abundance, evenness and dominance. This has given rise to portfolio effect of the species distribution in which the individuals variation is greater as compare to community variation which is lowest and vice versa. Varying numerical data of diversity information statistics supportive of correlated heterogeneous population dynamics of aquatic insects achieved though this investigation proved as mathematical server for mapping the species diversity status of aquatic insects in this water bodies. Nevertheless species diversity maps both at community level Subject to unpredictable variation because of the fact that the quantum of individual diversity is inversely related to that of community population.
