Ms. K.Jayashree es un titular de rango universitario en su M.A.(Eco). Obtuvo la beca/premio al mérito de la Srt. Vasantha Devi en su M.phil. Jayashree también fue becaria de doctorado en MIDS.  Tanto la enseñanza como la investigación han sido su carrera. Ha trabajado en proyectos de investigación del IIT y del Banco Mundial. Actualmente es profesora en el Instituto Privado Bharadwaj Ltd.
