Leigh Davidsson was born and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She currently resides in Stockholm, Sweden with her husband and two Abyssinian cats. She started writing books later in life and this is the second book in a trilogy. She studied microbiology and works in public heath as an epidemiologist. She has a special interest in human parasites.
