Karla Harney Thompson lives in the big, white house within the big backyard. She is on first name basis with all the little fairies, creatures, and critters who have built their homes around her yard. Karla enjoyed many years of teaching elementary-age children while being employed by the University of Kentucky in the 4-H Youth Development program. Here, she taught basic cooking skills, arts and crafts, and manners and etiquette. The big backyard is Karla's favorite place to be! Meeting amazing little characters and creating their stories is her favorite thing to do! All her stories come straight from her own life experiences and the remarkable people that share her life.
