Further, the rapid expansion of the aquaculture as an industry and the disease problems that the industry faces, necessitate an intensified study on fish immunology for the development of effective vaccines against a number of diseases.The workshop being the first attempt of this research group on Marine Fish Immunology towards organizing a workshop on Marine Fish Immunology from CAS in Marine Biology aims to serve as a platform for dissemination of scientific knowledge and imparting technical expertise with mutual sharing of ideas.
