Born February 24, 1961 in São Paulo, Brazil, he and his family moved to Los Angeles in 1963. After building several of his own studios and touring Jamaica for a while, he produced Tone Loc''s single "Cheeba Cheeba", and engineered the Beastie Boys'' second album Paul''s Boutique soon afterward. Since then, he has produced many albums for artists as various as Super Furry Animals and Molotov, but also produced most Beastie Boys albums up to and including Hello Nasty, all three Money Mark albums, and Molotov''s "Apocalypshit".
