The first chapter dovetails market power of cooperatives; second chapter deals with empirical studies on market power and conceptual framework; the methodological approach is discussed in the third chapter. Chapter four is devoted for analyzing the market power of cooperatives; factors explaining market power of cooperatives is analyzed in the fifth chapter using binary dependent logistic regression model; and in final chapter major findings, conclusion and recommendations for policy implications are offered.
