The book captures insights of Peri-urban vegetable farmers in terms of their receptability towards this product and in so doing assessing their coherent perspectives of benefits or features they would like to see manifest in the faecal organic fertilizer. It was established clearly through the studies that Peri-urban vegetable farmers appreciates the fact that the faecal compost is a very reliable remedy to solve their current soil/land fertility problems. There is however a lot of work needed to ensure fast availability of nutrients to the crops which which translates into good crop yield that is a high priority to farmers.
