Inspired by her grandchildren, this is the author's first attempt at a children's book. She has previously written poetry and short stories. The illustrations in this book are also by the author, drawing and painting being another pastime that she enjoys a great deal, when not working full time in the care industry to which she has dedicated half of her life.
