Hafid Abouelkacem holds a doctorate in French literature. Author of several articles on the work of Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, Mohamed Nedali, Fouad Laroui, Daniel Sibony and Elias Canetti, he is also the author of a book entitled La pensée hybride dans l'oeuvre de Tahar Ben Jelloun published by Éditions Universitaires Européennes.
