Jim Petreas is a single dad who lives in the Dallas, Texas area. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to parents of Greek Nationality, he was brought up on a "family comes first philosophy." His parents moved to the Northern Virginia area in the early sixties. Approximately forty years later he moved to Texas as a result of business. His two boys got very active in sports, something he took a great interest in. Soon after the move to Texas, his marriage started to suffer. That dynamic brought him to this point in time, where he embraced the role as a single parent. Was it easy? "No it wasn't." Was it rewarding? "Absolutely!"
