Autorenporträt
Marta Ayala Minero was born in El Salvador and moved to San Francisco with her family. She began drawing and painting as a child, and her life and work has been greatly influenced by her uncle Camilo Minero, one of El Salvador's principal artists and muralists. Her San Francisco mural work received community awards for Best Public Art in 1998 and 2001, and she has been featured in the books: Latin American Women Artists of the The United States by Robert Henkes, Murals: Walls That Sing by George Ancona for students aged 9-12, The Mission by Dick Evans, Muralismo Street Art in San Francisco by Annice Jacoby and Playborhood by Mike Lanza. Carlos Casas is a Spanish poet, writer, and humorist. His style is fresh and direct, as well as effective when it comes to bringing poetry or stories to all kinds of audiences, engaging the reader and not leaving those who approach his work indifferent. His reference book The Spanish Rider was published in Spain is a cult book. His poem Escaping was included in California's Best Emerging Poets Anthology of 2020 in EEUU. He also writes books for children and uses a very personal and didactic perspective in their stories.
