Being a first notice in Tunisia, this work opens the door for forthcoming studies shedding light on potential analogies between Tunisian terrestrial analogues and extraterrestrial bodies. We use models to further understand possible spring mounds formation on Mars. Dr. Elhoucine Essefi obtained his PhD in geology from the National Engineering School of Sfax in 2013 titled ¿Wet Aeolian Sedimentology and Sequence Stratigraphy within the Terrestrial Analogues in Eastern Tunisia: Implications for Wet Aeolian Sedimentology and Sequence Stratigraphy on Mars¿.
