Michael Mallory is a Los Angeles-based writer, journalist, and film-and-animation historian. He is the author of many nonfiction books on pop culture, including The Art of Krampus, Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, Marvel: The Characters and Their Universe, X-Men: The Characters and Their Universe, Marvel: The Expanding Universe Wall Chart, Universal Studios Monsters: A Legacy of Horror, and Iwao Takamoto: My Life with a Thousand Characters, which he co-wrote with animation legend Iwao Takamoto.
